Michael Lathigee

Michael Lathigee is the CEO of Alliance Investment Solutions and he also sits as the Chairman and CEO of the FIC Group of Companies. Since its inception in 2001, his organizations have focused on investments in the highest yielding sectors of the market: Uranium, oil, gold and Alberta real estate. Returns have consistently outperformed the markets and generated impressive profits. The organizations now have almost 6,000 combined members and over $120M in assets.

Prior to Michael’s involvement with the Alliance Investment Solutions and the FIC Group of Companies, he held directorship appointments and executive level positions at several public companies. Michael is also the Chairman of United Animal Resource Foundation, which focuses on the humane treatment of all animals.

Matthew McKechnie, A.Sc.T.
Senior Vice President

Matthew McKechnie assumed his role at Alliance Investment Solutions in August 2008. Prior to that Mr. McKechnie was Chief Operating Officer of Co-operators Development Corp. Ltd., the real estate arm of the Co-operators Group Ltd. He is a Trustee of the Community Housing & Land Trust Foundation of BC, a Trustee of the BC Disability Trust, and a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade and the Building Owners and Managers Association of BC. He is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Applied Science Technologists of British Columbia. Mr. McKechnie is a past Director of the Fraser Health Authority where he held various positions including Chair of both the Facilities Committee and the Quality Care Committee. Mr. McKechnie brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and development experience to Alliance Investment Solutions; experience which spans decades and which will add considerable value to the company as it continues its growth in that industry.
